History - Started the business on 1st October 1972
One month later my brother Graeme started with me and has been here ever since
Work undertaken - All aspects of the painting trade including: Graining/ Signwriting/ Marbling/ Trompe L'oiel/ Colour-washing/ Gilding/ Heraldic tincturing and all done with quality in mind and leaving a satisfied customer

Views on the trade - "Some things never change ie. Some are interested in quality others chase the more contractual type of work but there is room for everybody.
We must encourage youngsters to follow the trade.
Acrylics have their uses and are getting better, but as a finish
I don't think that they have subtle finish of the traditional materials"
